A new season of competition for USF Pro Championships Presented by Continental Tire will commence this weekend on the Streets of St. Petersburg, Fla. The top two rungs on the world-renowned open-wheel driver development training ladder, USF Pro 2000 and USF2000, have attracted a strong entry list of over 40 talented young drivers.

Persistent rain today ensured an unfortunate early conclusion to the two-day USF Pro Championships Presented by Continental Tire Spring Training test session at NOLA Motorsports Park in Avondale, La. Thankfully, the weather yesterday proved more hospitable, allowing 66 young drivers an opportunity to gain some bragging rights prior to two of the three series which comprise the acclaimed open-wheel driver development ladder kicking off their race seasons next weekend on the streets of St. Petersburg, Fla.

Preparations for a new USF Pro Championships Presented by Continental Tire season will reach a crescendo this weekend, February 22/23, with a two-day Spring Training open test at NOLA Motorsports Park.

Andersen Promotions today announced that Bell Racing Helmets will extend its partnership and status as the Official Helmet of USF Pro Championships Presented by Continental Tire – the premier open-wheel driver development system – through 2026.

Adding to the excitement is an increase in horsepower on road and street courses for the top two rungs of the open-wheel driver development ladder system – USF Pro 2000 and USF2000.
