Dawsonville, GA – VRD Racing is excited to announce that Thomas Schrage will join the team for a one-off appearance in USF2000 Presented by Continental Tire for his home race at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Schrage brings his extensive knowledge of the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and USF2000 machinery to the VRD Racing team this weekend. Thomas competed in the first three events of the 2024 USF2000 season and two events last season. Prior to his experience in USF2000, he won the 2022 Formula Race Promotions F1600 Championship Series and earned a Team USA Scholarship finishing fourth at the Formula Ford Festival at Brands Hatch.

"Thomas is a great addition to our lineup in Mid-Ohio," said VRD Racing's Dan Mitchell. "He brings experience and speed to the team and we’re aiming to give him a car that can deliver a solid result at his home track.”

Schrage's participation is crucial for VRD Racing this weekend as they aim to climb the standings in both the driver's and team's championships, building on their recent USF 2000 victory at Road America.
