"Anthony put together a tremendous drive in Race 1 to come from eighth to second, and Evan responded exactly how we wanted to see after a difficult opening race, coming back Saturday and putting the #90 car on the podium," said Michael Duncalfe, Co-Owner and CEO of Exclusive Autosport. "Gabriel had a really strong recovery drive as well, moving forward eight positions. We certainly had some adversity across the five cars, but I am proud of how our drivers and the entire EA crew continued to fight and execute throughout the weekend. There is no break for this group as we head directly to Markham, and we are looking forward to carrying the positive momentum from two great podium finishes into another important weekend.”

The weekend began Thursday with unofficial testing at the 1.964-mile, 12-turn Portland International Raceway, giving the five-car Exclusive Autosport squad valuable track time before everything became official on Friday. Qualifying saw Cooley lead the way for the team in seventh, just ahead of Martella in eighth, with Gabriel Cahan in 13th, Ayrton Cahan in 15th and Aspley in 17th. Later that afternoon, Martella put together an impressive drive in the opening 25-lap race, charging from eighth to second to secure the first podium of the weekend for EA, while Ayrton Cahan moved forward to finish 11th. Cooley finished 15th after a late-race incident dropped him a lap down. Unfortunately, Gabriel Cahan and Aspley saw their races end early after being hit at the start. They finished 19th and 20th, respectively.

Saturday brought the second and final race of the Portland weekend, and this time it was Cooley and Gabriel Cahan making the biggest moves for Exclusive Autosport. Starting ninth, Cooley worked his way forward to secure the final step of the podium in third, giving EA its second podium result in as many races. Gabriel Cahan delivered an equally impressive charge through the field, gaining eight positions from 15th to finish seventh and cap off his weekend with a strong top-10 result. Ayrton Cahan finished 19th, while Connor Aspley finished 20th after completing 19 laps.

After his runner-up result the previous afternoon, Martella’s Race 2 came to an early end after 12 laps due to a technical issue, leaving him 21st. Despite the challenges, the pair of podium finishes from Martella and Cooley, along with Gabriel Cahan’s impressive Race 2 recovery, gave Exclusive Autosport plenty of positives to take away from Portland as the team turns its attention to the next rounds of the championship.

There will be no break for Exclusive Autosport, as the team heads directly from Portland to Canada for the Continental Grand Prix of Markham and the next two rounds of the USF2000 Championship.

Race 2: Start – 9th / Finish – 3rd

Driver Quote: “It was an up-and-down weekend for sure here at Portland International Raceway; a red flag in qualifying affected our starting position for both races, as that lap would have comfortably put us inside the top-3. A great drive in Race 1 had us finish P2, and unfortunately, in Race 2, after a great start and making big gains on the leaders, we suffered a mechanical issue near the start of the race, which got worse as the race went on, and we ultimately had to retire the car. That's the reality of racing sometimes, and I’m already looking forward to racing in my home backyard this weekend on the streets of Markham.”

Race 1: Start – 13th / Finish – 19th (Contact)

Race 2: Start – 15th / Finish – 7th  

Driver Quote: “It was kind of an up-and-down weekend in Portland. I struggled learning the track in the first two sessions, but come Friday we had an amazing pace to start the day. Didn’t get the qualifying result we wanted going into Race 1. During Race 1, I was hit in turn 2, which ended my race. Although because of that, I got to watch Anthony bring home a deserving P2 for the team. Saturday was much better, bringing home a P7. I felt like I could’ve driven better, but we will take it. Huge thanks to everyone at Exclusive Autosport, my engineer Rob, mechanic Rod, and Elliot for their help.”

Driver Quote: “Portland was definitely a roller coaster of a weekend. Struggling to get up to speed fast had us on the back foot going into qualifying, with a mistake on my part and our qualifying run early, which saw us starting further back than we wanted. Race 1, we had a good drive coming up through the field to finish P7, but unfortunately, we got a penalty that dropped us down to P11. Race 2 was super chaotic, getting involved in the lap one incident, which dropped me to the back of the field and required me to catch up. We drove up to P12 before unfortunately being collected in another incident in the hairpin, which ended my race prematurely. As always, I’d like to thank Exclusive Autosport for providing me with a rocketship of a race car. I’d also like to thank my mechanic Kyle and Jason, my engineer Robert, and my coach Elliott.”
